The Cajun Stop

Located at the end of a quaint strip mall, this place has a small eating area outside and about 10 tables on the inside.
There was a vast amount of items on the menu, but I decided to try their Crawfish Etouffee which is one of my favorite dishes. My sister Kels got 2 pounds of crawfish. Our wait time was between 10-15 minutes. The owner came by a few times to check to make sure we were okay, and chat it up with us a bit. I thought that that was a nice personal touch. They played a lot of Cajun/zydeco music, that makes you wanna get up and dance (I refrained myself from doing this)
The food was pretty good, my sister did say that she felt that her crawfish could have been juicier, and they were $8.15/per pound (sheesh) but that is the going rate now for crawfish in Houston, and to tell you the truth, is isn’t much cheaper elsewhere either. No fancy smancy clothing required, come as you are (within reason), and try to get there earlier in the day, from what the owner tells us, they get pretty packed in the late afternoon/evening. Oh and did I mention that they have happy hour from 3-7 every day. Yep $5 appetizers and Daiquiris!!! Check them out when you get the time.
